Cell Paint
Cell painting is a high throughput image-based laboratory technique used to identify single cells in biological specimens. Different components of the cell, such as the nucleus and cytoskeleton, are labeled with different florescent dyes resulting in a colorful representation of the cell. Following "painting", automated image analysis is used to evaluate characteristics of the cellular components, such as the size, shape, and texture.
