Covid blood point of care
Point of care testing is medical testing that does not require laboratory equipment or processing. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, point of care testing to identify patients infected by the SARS-CoV2 virus. COVID blood point of care tests typically reply on antigen or antibody detection and are less sensitive than PCR tests. Covid blood point of care tests can be conducted with a small amount of blood obtained from a finger-stick.
