Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome: are a group of connective tissue disorders that can often be inherited and are varied in how they affect the body and in their genetic causes. They tend to be characterized by joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibilty and tissue fragility. EDS is classified into thirteen subtypes and each subtype has a set of clinical criteria that helps to guide official diagnosis. Symptoms are most often joint and skin related.
