Light Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy (LSFM)
Light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) is a high speed, high resolution microscopy technique that utilizes optical sectioning capabilities. LSFM uses a small section of a sample that is then lit perpendicularly from the direction of viewing by a laser beam. Another practice creates a light sheet by using a circular beam scanned in one direction, this causes less stress to a live sample.
