Baking Soda Can Be Used for More Than Just Cooking

Baking soda is some extremely versatile stuff. Not only is it used in cooking, but it's also the main ingredient in many of the things you use every day and can be used in several life hacks.

Among those, it can be used as a deodorant, for quelling heartburn, to clean rust from metallic surfaces, for removing stinky compounds from the air in a refrigerator, and as a degreaser.

Baking soda is also used in the medical industry for various kinds of life-saving procedures; unfortunately, there's a bit of a shortage of these medical-approved baking soda compounds at this point in time.

If you don't already have baking soda in your home, you might want to stock up on some, as it has so many uses that it can be considered a miracle chemical.
