Here's What NASA Has Planned for 2018

WRITTEN BY: Anthony Bouchard

2018 will be a big year for NASA, and to help explain why, the space agency compiled the following video outlining some of the most important projects to come.

Among some of the projects that catch our attention are:

• Launch astronauts into space from U.S. soil with American space companies
• Visit Bennu with the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft
• Send the Parker Solar Probe closer to the Sun than any other probe before it
• Get ready to launch the James Webb Space Telescope the following year
• Partner with companies for deep-space habitats
• And so much more...

Space isn't NASA's only playground, but it's one of the most significant. Some of NASA's other endeavors focus on forward-thinking ways of advancing humankind and making the world a better place to live in.

It's awe-inspiring to think about all the different things that NASA can do, and it's all thanks to the incredibly-talented engineers that help make everything possible.
