Tips for Preventing Acne

WRITTEN BY: Carmen Leitch

Just because someone has reached adulthood doesn't mean they are not going to experience acne anymore. Because pimples are caused by hormones, getting older is not an escape from skin problems. That means women will often get acne well into adulthood, maybe their entire lives. It also means stress will cause breakouts.

Johns Hopkins dermatologist Mary Sheu has some tips for preventing acne. For one, eating the rights foods can help.
