How do I stop spam calls?

It's not just you: spam calls are getting worse every year. In 2017 the monthly average of complaints about robocalls in the US reached 375,000. In the last year, over 4.5 million complaints were made about robocalls and 2 million more about live telemarketers. Are you being targeted? Here's what you can do to fight back against spam calls:

1. Use a call-blocking app. Hiya and Truecaller are two free call-blocking apps you can download that will help keep you spam-free. Nomorobo and RoboKiller are two others you can subscribe to.

2. Make sure your number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.

3. See if your phone provider can help you out. Some providers offer services to help identify spam phone calls.

What should you do if a spam phone call gets through to you? Watch the video to find out!
