What If We Killed All the Wasps?

It’s no secret that wasps serve as an annoyance and some may even advocate for their eradication, however, doing so will bring harm since studies have shown that wasps serve a great deal of good to the human race. For one, wasps may seem like pests but they are actually excellent pest control agents for other insects that are harmful for crops. Additionally, recent research is suggesting that certain compounds found in wasp venom can be used for the development of antimicrobials or cancer therapeutics. Furthermore, wasps can be important pollinators for some plants.
