Liquid is a form of matter in between gas and solid, in which the molecules are freer flowing than that of a solid, but more restricted than that of a gas.

Water is among one of the most well known liquids, but there are all kinds of liquids out there with all kinds of different properties, such as viscosity, color, weight, and refraction.
