Fun Facts About Jupiter

WRITTEN BY: Anthony Bouchard

Jupiter is an impressive planet. There are a lot of mysteries about it that remain unsolved, and we have yet to really study the gas giant up close.

Of course, NASA just successfully put their Juno spacecraft into orbit around the massive gassy planet, and now we have the opportunity to study it up close.

Among the things we hope to learn from the Juno encounter are what makes up Jupiter, as well as what its atmospheric conditions are like, and to learn more about its magnetic fields.

Jupiter also has many more moons than any other known planet in the solar system, and it's hoped we can someday learn more about those as well.
