Point of Care Testing: Rapid Results, Enhanced Patient Care and Collaborative Relationships POCT: Results and Relationships

This presentation will briefly cover point-of-care testing (POCT) from a historical standpoint. (What are we doing and why did we decide to do it this way?) This presentation will incorporate regulatory concerns and the role of the clinical laboratory. Healthcare providers who perform POCT, environments where POCT is routinely employed, and at-home testing will be discussed.
