    Abstract

    DATE: July 14, 2020

    TIME:  10:00am PT

This talk will cover clinical case perspectives on utilizing both molecular and serology tests for diagnosing COVID-19 active and past infections. Dr. Garner will discuss clinical lab testing algorithms for specific organism identification and immune status determination. The current CDC recommendations for utilizing both molecular and serology tests and how these can be practically employed by clinical laboratories will also be covered in this presentation.

    Learning Objectives:

    •  Identify current COVID-19 testing status and what might be next for laboratories in the US.
    • Defining and fine tuning COVID-19 diagnostic algorithms for both a serological and molecular approach.
    • Discuss current testing recommendations and their implementation by one clinical laboratory.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
