The Hematoxylin and Eosin stain (H&E) is the most widely used stain for histopathological analysis. Even though the H&E stain is a relatively simple stain to perform, there are a variety of factors that can interfere with the staining process. The maintenance of consistent, high-quality H&E stains is a fundamental requirement in any histopathology related project. Troubleshooting H&E stains can be difficult and frustrating.
