The importance of simultaneously detecting and differentiating SARS-CoV-2 and influenza during flu season

Experts are predicting an increase in influenza cases and a constant presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the shortly approaching influenza season. As SARS-CoV-2 and influenza can share similar clinical symptoms, having access to a diagnostic test that can concurrently detect and differentiate between the viruses will be crucial. The TaqPath COVID-19, Flu A, Flu B Combo Kit has a sample-to-results turnaround time of approximately 3 hours and supports testing of up to 94 samples in parallel.
