Abstract

In this talk, Dr. Adalja will discuss the role of diagnostic testing in infectious diseases. He will specifically address how improved diagnostic testing, in both home and hospital settings, can be thought of as a pandemic resiliency tool.

Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss the value of infectious disease diagnostics.

2. Recognize the importance of home diagnostics.

3. Identify how better diagnostics leads to more resiliency to pandemics.
