Abstract
Over the past three decades, baculovirus expression vector system (BEVS) has become one of the most powerful and robust methodologies for recombinant protein production. This system can express proteins more efficiently compared with other expression systems with better post-translational modifications that can well maintain the natural properties of the proteins.

In this webinar, Dr. Xuejiao Zhang will introduce the development history and technical process of BEVS, and share successful cases focusing on baculovirus vector construction strategies, protein expression and purification scheme optimization.

Learning Objectives
  • Review characteristics of the baculovirus and insect cells
  • Outline the technical process of BEVS
  • Illustrate recombinant protein expression strategy of BEVS
  • Discuss scheme optimization of BEVS

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
