This presentation will include an introduction to proficiency testing and how it applies to the cannabis analytical space along with an overview of the typical quality assurance tests that are performed and why. Current PT program and test options will be reviewed in addition to providing insight on the data collected, how it benefits the cannabis industry and can influence the regulatory environment.

    Learning objectives:

    1. What is an analytical proficiency test and why are they important

    2. What are ISO 17025 requirements and how do they apply to proficiency testing

    3. How can ILC/PT data be used to improve individual analytics and understand how the cannabis testing industry is performing as a whole
