Abstract
‘My supplier has the wrong Reference Intervals’. For laboratorians, working with Reference Intervals included in the manufacturer’s Instruction for Use inserts might not always be suitable for the laboratory’s population.
 
In this webinar, Dr. Robert Mueller will cover the concept of reference intervals and the factors affecting their estimation. It also discusses the principles for establishing reference intervals through the direct method and the indirect method with practical considerations to the laboratories to select one or the other, using the example of PTH.
