Abstract
An estimated 48.5 million couples suffer from infertility worldwide, driving up usage of assisted reproductive technologies around the globe. As a result, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), has become commonplace in vitro fertilization (IVF) research, to evaluate the status of an embryo. One significant distinction within PGT methods lies in their invasiveness. Non-invasive PGT techniques include comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS) and PGT for aneuploidy (PGT-A), whereas invasive methods include PGT for monogenic/single gene defects (PGT-M) or PGT for structural rearrangements (PGT-SR). This one-hour roundtable aims to explore the particulars of non-invasive and invasive PGT, offering a comparative analysis of their methods, benefits, limitations, and risks. Experts in the field will share their insights, helping participants understand the advancements, challenges, and prospects of PGT techniques.

Learning objectives
