Abstract
Dendritic cells (DCs) are a heterogeneous population of myeloid immune cells that act as peripheral sentinels specializing in antigen uptake, processing, and presentation. DCs are responsible for initiating adaptive immune responses by activating naive T cells in an antigen-specific manner. On the other hand, DCs play a pivotal role as critical modulators of thymic and peripheral immune tolerance. These unique functions of DCs to induce either an inflammatory or tolerogenic response make these cells attractive for immunotherapy research. In this webinar, we present research solutions that are optimized for DC research.

Learning Objectives
  • Discuss established and new solutions for studying DC subpopulations in human and mouse.
  • Design experiments to isolate primary DCs and to generate monocyte-derived dendritic cells (Mo-DCs) for basic and translational research.
  • Identify and characterize DCs using flow cytometry and ultrahigh-content imaging.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
