    Biography
Martha Luevano is responsible for the research and clinical NK cell product portfolio at Miltenyi Biotec since 2015. During this period of time, she has been working together with R&D and the Clinical Development team in order to advance the development of tools to enable NK cell immunotherapy and advance Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILCs) research. Prior to joining Miltenyi Biotec, Martha Luevano did her postdoctoral research in stem cells (Miltenyi Biotec-Marie Curie fellowship) and her PhD in the Anthony Nolan (University College London) finding solutions to expand NK cells for therapeutic purposes. Her combined experience in molecular and cellular research has made her the recipient of international grants and fellowships.

    Abstract:

    DATE:  November 13, 2019

    TIME:   12:00pm PST

NK cells play a major role in immune surveillance and in the early immune response to cancer and infections. Beneficial anti-tumor responses have been observed, illustrating the safety profile and clinical potential of this treatment. With an increasing availability of anti-cancer drugs, the role of NK cell-based approaches in novel combination therapies has rapidly escalated.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Be updated on the latest trends on the NK cell immuno-oncology field
    • Be introduced to the tools you need to successfully push your basic research to the next level
    • Learn how to seamlessly translate your basic research into clinical settings

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
