This colorimetric assay is designed for inhibitor screening or kinetic assay of recombinant CD45 tyrosine phosphatase. Activity is determined using the pp60c-src negative regulatory phosphopeptide substrate, an efficient and physiologically relevant peptide substrate for CD45. The detection of free phosphate released is based on the classic Malachite green assay.
