Collagenase Activity Assay Kit provides a quick and easy way to determine activity of Collagenase. Theasay measures collagenase activity using a synthetic peptide (FALGPA) that mimics the structure of collagen. It is suitable for measuring activity of bacterial collagenases such as from Clostridium histolyticum type I-XI. This assay can also be used for screening or characterization of collagenase inhibitors.The limit of detection for this assay is 0.02 mU Collagenase.
