HSV-1 (20.7.1) Alexa Fluor® 594 | Santa Cruz Biotechnology

mouse monoclonal IgG1; HSV-1 Antibody (20.7.1) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal HSV-1 antibody (also designated Human alphaherpesvirus 1 antibody, or human Herpesviridae family 1 antibody) that detects the HSV-1 protein of origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P). HSV-1 Antibody (20.7.1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-HSV-1 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-HSV-1 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The herpes simplex virus (HSV) (also known as cold sore, night fever or fever blister) is a virus that causes a contagious disease. The HSV-1 strain generally appears in the orafacial organs. All herpes viruses are morphologically identical: they have a large double-stranded DNA genome and the virion consists of an icosahedral nucleocapsid which is surrounded by a lipid bilayer envelope. Following primary infection, the virus establishes a latent infection in the host and may reactivate at any stage. Reactivation is frequently, but not always, associated with further disease.
