Biohazards, or biological hazards, are biological agents that pose a potential risk upon exposure. Biohazards are often present in scientific experiments or during clinical trials. Examples of biohazards include medical waste, microorganisms, viruses and toxins which, can negatively impact health following uncontrolled exposure.
