    Electromagnetic spectrum

The electromagnetic spectrum defines the range of all forms of electromagnetic radiation. Types of electromagnetic radiation include visible light, radio waves, microwaves, ultraviolet light, and X-rays. The types of radiation producing the lowest energy have the longest wavelength while those with the highest energy have the shortest wavelength.
