World Health Organization (WHO): is an organization that is responsible for international public health. The WHO was formed on April 7, 1948 by the United Nations World Health Assembly. The object of the WHO, according to its constitution, is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. The WHO helps to strengthen international health and respond to crises by promoting co-operation and communication between governments and healthcare agencies.
