    Chirality

Chirality are molecules that form nonsuperimposable mirror images, and thus exist as enantiomers, are said to be chiral molecules. It derives from the Greek work cheir meaning "hand" because, like hands, the molecules and objects in general are not superposable with their mirror images. It is the property of a figure that is not identical to its mirror image.
