Image segmentation
Image segmentation is a technique used in digital image processing. The process of image segmentation involves partitioning a digital image into several smaller segments in order to simplify the view. Images are segmented to allow certain analyses, such as those requiring identification of boundaries, lines, or curves, to be performed.
