Material science and biotechnology
Material science is a scientific field focusing on the research and development of materials, including glass, polymers, and metals. Biotechnology is a related, but separate, field of science that uses biology to develop new products that can benefit health. Material science and biotechnology can intersect to discover new drugs, improve medial treatment and diagnostic procedures, improve medical screening techniques, and create new materials that help enhance health.
