Airplane Forced to Land After Passengers Spot a Huge Snake Onboard

Passengers onboard an Aeromexico airplane flight were in for quite the scare last week as it turns out there was a large snake dangling from the suitcase storage compartments.

How it got there remains to be seen, but the event forced the airplane to perform an emergency landing so the snake could be extracted from the aircraft. Animal Control was reportedly successful in the extraction.

Nobody was hurt during the rather scary and claustrophobic event, but it serves as a warning that you never really know what might be lingering on the airplane the next time you take a seat on one.
