Basic Science of Cannabis

Cannabis is a very complex and versatile plant that has many different uses. Historically, it has been used for things like rope, textiles, and healing properties; in more recent years, the Schedule 1 drug classification has demonized the plant and limited the potential for broad scientific and clinical research. Expert scientists and clinical providers are beginning to see the value and nearly undeniable potential for this plant to help people suffering from diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, and cancer or having symptoms of neuropathies or refractory epileptic seizures.

This video is a quick broad overview of the basic science of cannabis.
