Abstract

2020 started as a year of inspired regulatory improvements to increase the safety and quality of food in the US. Due to recent pandemic effects, the expected regulatory trends have evolved. The top regulatory trends from Intentional Adulteration to the COVID-19 impact in the US for the start of 2020 will be reviewed and include the impact and next steps for the industry.
