    TIME: 8:00am PT, 11:00am ET

In modern research, you're looking for smaller and fainter details. Your success depends upon discriminating between effects and background. Learn about instruments you can choose for your research and understand the basic principles that were designed to drive your research. This talk will focus on innovations in stereo microscopy for brightfield and fluorescence typically used in laboratories working on zebrafish, drosophila and c. elegans, and how you can advance your discoveries by allowing you to see more of what you haven't seen before in greater detail.

    Learning Objectives:

    •  When to choose a greenough microsope in research: depth of field, resolution and working distance
    •  Why the correct light base is important to get better insights into your sample
    •  How the right system can help you to see more details in fluorescence screening
