    Abstract

    DATE: August 29, 2019
    TIME: 10:00am PDT

This webinar will discuss how combining VIDAS® B•R•A•H•M•S PCT (TM) (procalcitonin) and a BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® Respiratory Panel can optimize antimicrobial stewardship in patients with Lower Respiratory Tract Infections (LRTI).

    Learning Objectives:

    • Understand how to reduce antibiotic exposure with highly predictive low procalcitonin levels and positive highly multiplexed syndromic respiratory panel results
    • Understand the high incidence of unnecessary antibiotics in viral infections

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
