    Biography
      Dr. Laurent Mosnier holds a PhD in thrombosis and hemostasis from Utrecht University (Utrecht, Netherlands). He has worked in a variety of roles over nearly 20 years at Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla, California, US), most recently as a tenured associate professor. His recent work includes developing a targeted therapy for acute traumatic bleeding.

    In collaboration with Hematherix and Thermo Fisher, Dr. Laurent Mosnier is investigating a new treatment for acute traumatic bleeding using an engineered Factor V molecule. Acute traumatic bleeding is a major clinical issue without suitable prohemostatic treatment options. Most available prohemostatic drugs carry a high risk of thrombosis in acute traumatic bleeding. This webinar proposes a targeted therapy for acute traumatic bleeding using engineered Factor V molecules.
