Presented in the Channel: Breakouts. Touch DNA has a notoriously low rate of success in generating a DNA profile. See how Flinders University is applying a dye to bind to DNA and see outside of a microtube. This talk will discuss recent research into the origins of touch DNA, how many skins cells are needed to generate a DNA profile, and how best to optimize the opportunity to generate the maximum number of alleles.
