Bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) represent a versatile and increasingly important class of targeted therapeutics, designed to bind two distinct sites — either two different epitopes on the same antigen or on two separate antigens. Their clinical therapeutic effects surpass those of traditional monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), with even broader applications in oncology, infectious disease, tumor immunotherapy, and the treatment of various other diseases.
Designing bispecific antibodies is a complex process that challenges drug developers with additional levels of optimization and fine-tuning of lead compounds. Although the task of generating bispecific antibodies can be daunting, protein engineers who approach common problems with creativity have seen improvement in their clinical strategies.
Join our live webinar to hear from leading scientists about recommended initial formats for launching bispecific antibody campaigns and the rationale behind these choices. We will also explore the utility of mouse bispecific antibodies in basic research and drug discovery, featuring specific examples of their application. Attendees will learn how the high-throughput Octet® Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) platform addresses the limitations of traditional screening methods by providing quantitative functional assessment of two interactions to one bispecific molecule in a label-free, fluidics-free format in real-time.
We hope that this presentation will stimulate new ideas to improve current clinical strategies with advanced analytical techniques that ensure bsAbs are developed with the desired quality and specificity.
