The product is an adeno-associated virus type 2 (AAV2) vector containing the insertion of RBBP4 gene. This gene encodes a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein which belongs to a highly conserved subfamily of WD-repeat proteins. It is present in protein complexes involved in histone acetylation and chromatin assembly. The product is suitable for stable overexpression of exogenous gene in various types of cells and can be used in gene therapy research and development.
