The kit avoids the tedious steps of gene cloning and directly modifies the target protein on the surface of exosomes by chemical reaction. Firstly, the chemical linker A is covalently coupled to exosome surface to form exo-linker A, and chemical linker B was covalently coupled to target protein to form Pro-linker B, which are purified separately to remove the remaining linker molecules. Then incubate exo-linker A and pro-linker B. A fast and efficient chemical reaction takes place between the two linkers, and the target protein is coupled to the exosome surface in the form of covalent bond. Finally, SEC is used to remove the remaining Pro-linker B to obtain a large number of pure modified exosomes.
