CD9 (C-4) AC | Santa Cruz Biotechnology

mouse monoclonal IgG1; CD9 Antibody (C-4) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal CD9 antibody (also designated p24 antibody, MRP-1 antibody, Tetraspanin-29 antibody or Leukocyte antigen MIC3 antibody) that detects the CD9 protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P), FCM and ELISA. CD9 Antibody (C-4) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-CD9 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-CD9 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD9 is a type IV transmembrane glycoprotein with four transmembrane domains. CD9 on pre-B cells may play a role in cell-cell adhesion. In addition, CD9 may play a role in signal transduction mediated by interaction with low molecular weight GTP-binding proteins. CD9 is expressed on early B cells, eosinophils, basophils and activated T cells and is a major component of the platelet cell surface. It is also expressed on most non-T acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells and on some acute myeloid and chronic lymphoid leukemias.
