Cannabis Processing
Cannabis is procesed by hanging the plant upside down to dry, where it is then cut into smaller and more manageable sections. Ideally, the plant is dried between 65-75 degrees F with humidity levels around 45-55%. Once the plant is dried, cannabinoid extraction involves using ethanol as a solvent, and different processes are used depending on whether THC or CBD is extracted.
