    Diabetes drugs

    Most diabetes drugs work to lower blood sugar levels. Mechanisms of action of diabetes drugs can be: stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin, inhibiting release of glucose from the liver, and blocking the enzymes which break down carbohydrates in the stomach.
