E-Cigarettes, also referred to as e-cigs, electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), alternative nicotine delivery systems (ANDS), e-hookahs, mods, vape pens, vaporizers, vapes, and tank systems, are devices that electronically deliver nicotine in the absence of tobacco. E-cigarettes are made in a variety of shapes and sizes, and while some resemble traditional cigarettes or cigars, others look like pens, USB drives, or other everyday objects. E-cigarettes are powered by a battery which turns on a heating element to vaporize the liquid allowing it to be inhaled as an aerosol.
