Biography
Jiries Meehan-Atrash received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from SUNY New Paltz in 2014, and began pursuing a doctoral degree in chemistry at Portland State University in 2016 in the laboratory of Dr. Robert M. Strongin. Jiries branched from the nicotine e-cigarette chemical toxicology work to pursue the study cannabis e-cigarette aerosols and has authored five publications which have garnered 40 citations, and was named to receive the 2020 ElSohly Award for Excellence in Cannabis Science.
