Is Gene Editing The Silver Bullet For Fighting Disease?

Gene editing is the brave new world of treating diseases and maybe even wiping out genetic disorders. Cas9 is a protein that can be used to knockout or edit human DNA. Wherever there is a genetic mutation, scientists can use the technology to manipulate strands of DNA and remove the mutation.
