    Biography
      Terri Wolek is a Senior Sales Product Manager with Bio-Rad Laboratories in Benicia, CA and a certified MT (ASCP). She has over 10 years of experience in the clinical laboratory experience in both for-profit and not-for profit hospitals. Terri has spent 19 years working with laboratories on improving QC design, expanding laboratory staff knowledge and providing valuable feedback on a wide range of QC topics. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry and has earned her MBA with an emphasis is healthcare management.

    Abstract

    This presentation will outline activities from pre-inspection through the post inspection process as it relates to QC throughout your laboratory. You will be provided you a strategy on what information to have available for your unannounced inspection as well as details on the most common QC related inspection deficiencies. Come join the session so you can sail through your next inspection as it relates to QC.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Learn how to prepare and develop strategies for your next laboratory inspection related to QC.
    2. Obtain a list of the most common inspection deficiency from The Joint Commission, CAP and COLA.
