Abstract
Rapid urinary antigen testing is widely used for pneumonia diagnosis, yet it often lacks the consistency and traceability required in today’s clinical laboratories. This webinar explores how fully automated chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA) platforms can streamline and standardize urinary antigen detection for pneumonia pathogens. We will present the key features of automated CLIA technology, demonstrating how it improves sample workflow, minimizes manual steps, and reduces technician hands-on time. Two invited speakers will share their real-world experience transitioning from rapid tests to CLIA automation, highlighting gains in accuracy, reproducibility, and overall laboratory efficiency.

Learning Objectives
  • Understand main features and analytical advantages of automated CLIA urinary antigen testing for pneumonia diagnosis.
  • Compare workflow requirements and turnaround times between rapid tests and automated CLIA immunoassays.
  • Identify strategies to reduce technician hands-on time and improve standardization and traceability in the diagnostic process.
  • Evaluate real-life implementation experiences from laboratories that have transitioned from rapid tests to CLIA systems

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
