mouse monoclonal IgG1; demethylated-PP2A-C Antibody (4B7) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal demethylated-PP2A-C antibody (also designated demethylation specific Serine/Threonine phosphatase PP2A-C alpha/beta antibody, PP2CA antibody, PP2CB antibody, protein phosphatase 2 catalytic subunit C alpha/beta antibody, protein phosphatase 2 (PP2A) C alpha/beta antibody, PPP2CA protein phosphatase 2 catalytic subunit alpha/beta antibody, PP2A heterotrimeric (structural A, regulatory B, catalytic C) protein phosphatase antibody, PP2A phosphatase catalytic C alpha/beta antibody, protein phosphatase 2 complex antibody, or Ser/Thr phosphatase methylation state antibody) that detects the demethylated-PP2A-C protein of mouse, rat, human and d, x, S. pombe origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P). demethylated-PP2A-C Antibody (4B7) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-demethylated-PP2A-C antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-demethylated-PP2A-C antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. In eukaryotes, the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of proteins on serine and threonine residues is an essential means of regulating a broad range of cellular functions, including division, homeostasis and apoptosis. An additional protein phosphatase catalytic subunit, PPX (also known as PP4) is a putative member of a novel PP family. The PP2A catalytic subunit is a protein that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. Regulatory subunits include PP2A-Aa and -Ab, PP2A-Ba and -Bb, PP2A-Ca and -Cb, PP2A-B56a and -B56b.
